A 90×190 children's bed: sturdy and durable

To craft this solid wood children's bed, we used a high-quality material: solid beech.
Durable, this wood is the ideal material for creating long-lasting furniture. Furthermore, the wood we use comes from PEFC-certified French forests. This certification guarantees that these forests are managed sustainably and with respect for the environment. Like all our products, we wanted this wooden children’s bed to be safe. To achieve this, we have avoided chemical varnishes and glues. Indeed, these synthetic materials can release harmful emissions and VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) that contribute to indoor air pollution. To protect the wood, we have used a water-based, VOC-free varnish to preserve the beautiful natural color of the wooden children’s bed. The solid wood children’s bed features rigid wooden slats.

These slats provide your child with optimal firmness for a good night’s sleep, offering the support they need. These slats are left uncovered to allow the mattress to breathe better. Our goal in creating this product was to offer an eco-friendly, environmentally conscious product. To limit our environmental impact and transportation, we have chosen wood sourced from forests located within 100 km of our woodworking workshops. Thanks to this manufacturing process , we support local employment. Furthermore , solid wood has a positive carbon footprint because it acts as a real carbon sink and helps reduce CO2 in the atmosphere.
