When talking about Kipli, you inevitably have to start by talking about Mario

Davide’s uncle, who was the production manager for Pirelli mattresses in the 1980s. Mario, a true pioneer, decided to find an alternative to synthetic materials due to their significant environmental impact. In 1998, he founded his own natural latex mattress factory in Milan, where he cultivated a deep expertise. Twenty years later, Davide and Antoine joined forces and created Kipli to give this legacy a new mission: to make natural materials the standard for all our homes.

Kipli—what does that mean?

Kipli is a tribute to the British writer Rudyard Kipling, the brilliant author of *The Jungle Book*. Just like him, Kipli places nature at the heart of its beautiful and socially conscious designs. It seems obvious now, but it took some thinking to come up with the idea.
